Michael Novarese was an American couture fashion designer who designed gowns for Hollywood stars like Elizabeth Taylor, Jane Russell, Liza Minnelli, and many others. Pieces of his from the 60s and 70s are particularly exquisite and difficult to find. The best of his pieces have a slight Italian renaissance style to them while remaining classic and timeless. He created couture pieces working with expensive, high quality fabrics and proper sewing techniques.
